We’ve all heard that saying, it’s just a piece of paper. But, its so much more! That piece of paper holds the words, the vows, “forever” promises, love, commitment, for better or worse, you’re my person, a growing family, & so much more. That piece of paper is declaring, “of everyone in the world, I choose you.”
Here’s the thing, even though paper is strong and beats rock every time. If you don’t take care of it the edges won’t be smooth, it will start to tear, it may rip a little or maybe a lot, it will start to crumble. That paper then can become damaged, broken, unrepairable. Then what do you have left?!
